There’s a shrine in Monte Sant’ Angelo,
shining bright for all to see,
Glorious statue of St Michael there awaiting you and me.
In his face there’s peace and courage,
shield held high with eyes that plead,

Our Lord’s guardian our St Michael,

When this world is in a turmoil,
how can we forget our fear?
Turn our thoughts to great St Michael,
who awaits so very near.
Let us think of Monte Sant’ Angelo,
listen to St Michael’s plea;

We should think of being a knight
of great St Michael here today.
We have now been invited,
to join forces and to pray.
Our Almighty will be joyous,
if we save so many souls.
